Listed below are some replies from servicemen and women thanking us for the care packages!  Last names of our servicemen and women are removed for security.

Hello!  Thank you for the wonderful care packages!  It is always nice to know that folks back home are thinking of us over here.  Vince Z.

Military Moms and helpsers - On behalf of the personnel assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron Power Production Flight, I would like to extend our sincerest graditude for the "goodies" you sent to us.  Words cannot express the joy we all felt when we opened your packages.  The generosity of your time and energy is a tribute to the patriotism of the American people.  Without the support of Americans like you, this job would be much more difficult.  David A. T....Kuwait

Pacifica Miltiary Moms - Thank you SO much for the boxes of goodies you sent!  Please rest assured that they were shared with many soldiers in the unit to spread the happiness!  It means so much to know that people back home are thinking of us, expecially around the holidays when we all miss our families so much.  Please have a happy holiday and thank you again.  Vance Z. and Megan B.

"THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THE PACKAGES!!!! I opened my boxes in front of my buddies and I briefly looked through them real quick as they watched... The looks on their faces was priceless. You should have seen them when I finally told them they can have what ever they wanted!!!  They litterally ripped the boxes apart. A MILLION THANKS TO THE PACIFICA MILITARY MOMS and toKelly Moore Paint Company!!!!!"  Jesse C - Afghanistan

Pacifica Military Moms - Thank you again for sending the care packages!  This act of kindness truly touched my Soldiers and boosted their morale.  Life over here can be touth sometimes, but with the support of groups such as yours, it makes the time much more bearable....especially for some of my younger guys.  The boxes were once again packed with a lot of thought and care. It is nice to know that the troops are not forgotten about over here.  The Soldiers, NCOs and Officers of the 558th Explosive Hazzards Coordination Cell send their heartfelt thanks. Take care and God Bless.   Matthew  B     - Pacifica

On behalf of myself and the other soldiers of the 130th Engineer Brigade currently residing in Iraq......We would like to say THANK YOU!!!!  The packages you send are shared and appreciated!  Some soldiers get NO mail or care packages from home, so it is nice to know someone cares.  What you do is a blessing in every way!  Master Sergeant Gor.....  Have a GREAT Army Day!  "Sappers In"

Thank you all so much for the care packages.  It has been really nice to come back from patrol and get your packages.  They aleays have something good in them.  I share them with the other guys in my platooon and we all enjoy them.  We all needed some baby wipes and hygiene stuff and you packages had them!  it was really nice to receive.  We also enloy the treats and  books!  Everyone here is staying safe.  Everyone thanks you for your generousity.  It is greatly appreciated!!  Thanks again and God Bless YOU!!!  SPC David L. - Pacifica

I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped pack or donated anything to the Pacifica Miliary Moms. You guys have been sending me packages throughout both of my deployments and they are greatly appreciated. Everyone in my platoon says thank you also for everything you guys have sent us. You guys make it a little bit easier for us to do our jobs over here. Thank you!!!  Kevin G - Pacifica

Hey Pacifica Military Moms - Thank you very much for all of the packages that everyone has put together for my unit and I really appreciate all that everyone does.  It's a huge morale booster when you see 5 boxes laying on your cot!  I will be home in 2 weeks for R&R and i cannot wait!  Thank you again for everything you and all the military moms in Pacifica do for us over here, it means alot, thanks again from all the 82nd Pathfinders.  Nick G. - Pacifica

I received your care packages and I am very very sorry I havent responded to you sooner.  I have been very busy prepping to come home and closing up loose ends here and all my appointments.  The boys and gals of the unit appreciate everything you all do for us.  Thanks again!!  Respectfully, Curren D.

Hello!     My name is Private First Class Jacob P.  I recieved three of the packages you sent me and they are great!  I have so much stuff I have started giving it out to the guys around me because it won't all fit in my bags.  We really appreciate the candy, too.  It really means a lot to me and everyone else that there are people here who care enough to send us things.  In some places we can't survive without people like you because there isn't a store on base.  I don't know if you guys put out a list of things you request to be donated, but if you do, please add the little packets of crystal light, gatorade or koolaid to the list.   All we really have out here to drink (all we should be drinking) is water, but after the tenth or twelfth bottle of water in a day after three weeks of nothing but water, we long for variety.  If we can't get that it's fine; it's only a creature comfort and not a necessity.  I don't want to sound ungrateful either; my fellow soldiers and I greatly appreciate every package, every toothbrush and every pair of socks that comes in and we know that you don't have to do this, but you do out of the goodness of your heart.  Anyway, thank you again from all of us in the 57th! Jake

Pacifica Military Moms and friends - You are absolutely the best!  I am currently inbetween some pretty tough missions.  When I came back to base today, there was a box from the Pacifica Military Moms.  Wow....what a pick-me-up!  The box was obviously packed with a lot of thought and care.  I truly appreciate the time and effort put into sending me a care package.  It is nice to know the troops are not forgotten about over here.  I shared the contents with my guys, and they send their thanks as well.  Take care and God Bless.  SFC Matthew R. B.... - Pacifica

Thanks to all the wonderful people that help contribute their time and effort in making life for those of us deployed in harm's way a little better each and every day. It is always great pleasure and a great comfort to know that there are folks back home who care enough to spend some of their precious time to remember us and to remind us that we are never alone out here. And especially to that certain high school in San Lorenzo, a deep heart felt thank you. None of us would have chosen to go war in far off lands, but here we are faithful to our laws to defend that which we hold dear. May we all come home stronger and better, tempered by what we have endured to make a better peace.   Thank you,   George W. - Petaluma, Calif.

I am so sorry i am writing you back so late. I got your packages.  I had to have my buddy help me bring them back to my room. I had come back from being out for over 2 weeks and before i could take a shower and get 10 sandstorms, sweat from 130 degree weather, and dust off of me!  My sargeant grabbed me and told me I had mail.  I was thrilled, other than being back to running water and a bed and shade.   I was reminded that there are people back home that still think about me. I was very pleased with everything you sent me, and I divied up all of the items to about 10 of my buddies in my platoon. I feel a little spoiled, i get packages from family and friends, and very thoughtful groups like Military Moms of Tracy, and you would be surprised at the number of marines that do not recieve anythingl.  Some families are not as supportive as others. So it makes me feel good that I can share what I get with other Marines. I think what your group does is wonderful.  I know that you can not be there when we recieve your generous gifts, but I will tell you that getting stuff from home makes being thousands of miles away a lot easier.  Thank you so much for thinking about me, I hope that when I get home I can show my gratitude and meet all of you and personally thank you.    In regards to the San Lorenzo High School Class that decided on being so generous, I want to let you know that you put a smile on my face, and a little guilt when I eat all those sweats, but this heat burns off those calories in minutes. It is very thoughtful of you to choose this as your class project.  I hope you realize that you have not only impacted me, but you boost the morale of every Marine in my company, because I share everything I get with my brothers in arms. On behalf of all the Marines I am serving with in Iraq, thank you so much for your support and patriotism!!!!!  Scott L. - San Francisco, CA

Thank you so much for the wonderful carepackages I have been recieving from the Pacifica Military Moms.  I really do truly appreciate all the wonderful snacks and treats you have greatfully gathered to send to me. I truly am blessed to have people like you out there that truly support the military and their soldiers who are serving our country all around the world near and far from their loved ones. Thank you so much!  God bless you and the rest of the wonderful Moms, families and children for all that you have done.  Tyree P. - Bay Area, Calif.

Hello military moms:  I'm looking forward to meeting you and eating real pizza when I visit my mom in August.  Please let the teachers and the high school students in San Lorenzo know that I received the boxes. My Soldier's and I appreciate their thoughtfulness and support. It's getting hotter with each passing day. Believe me, the personal hygiene items you sent are much appreciated. Best wishes to you, the teachers, and the high school students.  Melaina S - Millbrae, CA

Dear Pacifica Military Moms and the students in San Lorenzo High School,   We received the care packages today.  On behalf of the 332nd Fuels Management Flight I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful items we received.  I can’t begin to tell you how great it feels to know that there are people back in the States who still support us.  It especially fills me with pride that the people are from my own “community”.  On a personal note, I’m from the Bay Area myself.  I was born in San Francisco and raised in San Jose.  Thank you all very much.  Scott H
